ABOUT US

Program Hours:

The CIA 21 CCLC Pirate Program serves students after school from Monday-Thursday 3:30-6:00 pm and on Friday from 3:30-5:30 pm. The program is not in session when school is not in session, including holidays and inclement weather closing. The program may also cancel due to forecasted snow/ice events predicted in the afternoon hours. Staff members will attempt to contact family members through the One-Call System (automated calling system) as early as possible, therefore contact information needs to be updated by the parent/guardian when changes occur.

Enrollment:

All students at Heath Elementary School are invited to join the CIA 21 CCLC Pirate Program. Children may attend the program once a completed registration form is returned to the Site Coordinator and necessary transportation arrangements are made. Registration forms will be available at Back to School night, HES main office, on this website, and at the Site Coordinator's office.

Program Fees:

A minimal weekly fee will be due at the beginning of each week. A sliding scale fee will be incorporated as financial assistance for those who qualify for free/reduced lunches and are subject to approval. No child will be denied services due to inability to pay for fees. For more information, contact the Site Coordinator.

Snack:

Students receive a nutritious snack daily provided by National School Lunch Program and the school cafeteria.

Activities:

Activities will be scheduled to include, but not limited to, a snack, recreation/physical education, homework help, tutoring, skill enhancement/enrichment, field trips, family events and summer camp.

Media Release:

Parent signature on the registration form gives the CIA 21st CCLC program permission to access records and to exchange information confidentially regarding your child with appropriate personnel. CIA staff members also may photograph, videotape and audiotape members and other participants in the program. Any and all forms of media including newspaper articles may be used at the discretion of the 21st CCLC staff for reports and promotion of the program. If you do not want your child photographed or published, please contact the Site Coordinator.

Consent to Release Information:

Parent signature on the registration form also gives the CIA 21st CCLC program permission to access records and to exchange information confidentially regarding your child with appropriate personnel. The before and after school program work closely with your child's school site. As part of our program, we will be sharing information with teachers and other school staff.
